M. Liz Andrews sees herself as a
torchbearer rooted in the spirituals and the belief that art has
the power to heal and incite transformation. She hails from
Denver, Colorado and holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University in
American Studies with a focus on social justice. Liz has
performed at numerous community events in and around Denver and
has taught poetry, dance and college prep classes to young
people, always integrating social justice themes. Liz is excited
to continue consciously creating and facilitating spaces for
young people to create.
